Refund Policy

• Free plan. Nothing is ever charged on the free plan, so there is nothing to refund. (Signup stores a payment method for future purchases — see Terms §3.)
• Cancel anytime. Cancellation stops all future charges. Your Premium access continues until the end of the period you already paid for, then the account returns to the free plan. Nothing you licensed or published is lost.
• No free trial. New subscriptions are billed immediately at signup — there is no free trial. If a first charge was unintended (you meant to cancel, forgot, or never used the service), contact us within 14 daysof the charge and we'll refund it.
• Renewal charges. If a renewal charged within the last 14 dayswas unintended (you meant to cancel, forgot, or never used the service), we'll refund it on request — once per account as a courtesy. Older renewals aren't refundable because the service was available throughout.
• Price increases. If you cancel because of a price change announced with less than the promised 30-day notice, any charge at the new price is refunded in full.

A course purchase is a perpetual license (see Terms §4). Because courses are digital and delivered instantly, we refund course purchases when:

• the course materially doesn't match its description or listing;
• the course is broken— media won't stream, the import fails, or content is missing — and we can't fix it;
• the course was removed for a policy violationby its creator's fault (not yours) within 7 days of your purchase;
• you accidentally bought the same course twice.

Request a refund within 7 days of purchase via the support chat (bottom-right) or support@zqinta.com with your receipt email. When a refund is issued, the course license is revoked — the course disappears from My Downloads and can no longer be imported or downloaded (boards already imported into the app must be deleted by you). Repeated buy-refund patterns may lead to refusal.

Refunded amounts return to the creator's balance: the buyer is made whole, and the creator's earnings are reduced by the refund (see Terms §5).

Class tickets are refundable within 7 days of purchase — but only while the lesson has not yet started. When a refund is issued the ticket is revoked (the lesson drops from My tickets) and any RSVP is removed. Request it from My Downloads → My tickets → Request refund (or the support chat); the refund goes back to the original payment method via Stripe. Lessons already attended or started are not refundable. Classes included with a course purchase are covered by the course refund window above, not separately.

Promotion payments ($10 / $25 / $50) are non-refundable once the sponsored window has started. If zQinta removes a promoted course for a policy violation by the author’s fault, the promotion is cancelled and refunded in full. If a payment was taken but the window never activated (e.g. all 10 slots were full), it is refunded automatically.

• Declined requests are refunded automatically — if no consultant can take your concept, the $7.99 returns to your payment method without you asking.
• A published review is an earned service — the fee is non-refundable, including when the review is critical of the concept.
• If your request is stuck (accepted but never delivered) for more than 7 days, contact us and we'll refund it.

• $2.99 upload fee — refunded if the upload or processing fails on our side. Once a book is processed and teachable, the fee is non-refundable (hosting + embeddings were performed).
• Query pools (author-funded) & reader query packs ($0.99 / 1,000 questions) — non-refundable once any portion is used; refunded in full if purchased but never usable (for example, the book was corrupted by our processing).
• Archived books. Dormancy archiving (45 idle days) is nota deletion — the book can be unarchived, so it isn't grounds for a refund by itself.

2. Tell us what you bought (the receipt email helps) and what went wrong.
3. We answer within 2 business days. Approved refunds are issued via Stripe and typically appear on your statement in 5–10 business days(your bank' timing).

Refunds always go back to the original payment method— we can't pay out to different accounts or cards.

Please talk to us before contacting your bank — we're fast and reasonable, and a chargeback freezes the conversation. Fraudulent chargebacks (paying, keeping access, and disputing) result in account suspension and license revocation.

If you're a consumer in the EU or UK, you have the right to withdraw from a digital-content purchase within 14 days unless you expressly consented to immediate delivery and acknowledged that the right is lost once delivery starts — which is what happens here: by accessing a purchased course, book, or review, you consent to immediate performanceand the withdrawal right lapses for that item. Where the right still applies, we'll honor it regardless of this policy.

Nothing in this policy limits your mandatory consumer rights (statutory guarantees, faulty-goods remedies). If this policy and your law disagree, your law wins.
